Purpose and goal
The role of AI in future 6G communication systems is crucial. It is important to study what AI means for cyber security in future communication infrastructure. The project aims to establish a European consortium and complete a project plan for the EU COST action. The planned COST action will address both security of AI and AI for security. The solution is interdisciplinary and is based on zero trust, physical layer security, and explainable AI.
Expected effects and result
Expected outcomes are a competitive COST action led by Sweden, a committed European consortium, and open planning artefacts that enhance national and EU capability in trustworthy AI and cybersecurity for 6G.
Planned approach and implementation
This project is organized in five work packages (WPs). WP1: Consortium. The task is to map and recruit COST action participants from more than seven countries. WP2: Co-creation Workshops & Requirements. The task is to organize multiple virtual workshops and one physical meeting to define COST action details. WP3: Technical Annex Draft, Review, and Final. The task is to prepare a technical annex. WP4: Ethics and Compliance. WP5: e-COST Submission & Communications.
