Quantum Advancement through Sweden–Singapore Integration (QUASI)

Reference number
Coordinator ConScience AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 250 000
Project duration November 2025 - August 2026
Status Ongoing
Venture Emerging technology solutions
Call Innovative collaborations with Singapore in quantum technology for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME)

Purpose and goal

The project aims to compare superconducting quantum chips between two leading testbeds in Sweden and Singapore. The goal is to create common benchmark methods, understand environmental impacts and improve the QiB1 platform. The work strengthens international reliability and builds a foundation for long-term collaboration.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to deliver robust benchmark protocols, better understanding of geomagnetic influences and improved quantum chip prototypes. Impacts include strengthened Swedish competitiveness, a more reliable international validation environment and reduced travel through local measurement in two regions.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is implemented in four stages: manufacturing of QiB1, measurements in Sweden, measurements in Singapore and joint data analysis. Partners coordinate methodology, share measurement infrastructure and work iteratively to achieve comparable results. The collaboration builds a structured model for future validation.
