Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a prototype of an Edge AI Data Logger. The goal is to validate on-device AI analysis for smarter and faster data acquisition in vehicle and robot networks, reducing data volumes and providing immediate insights.
Expected effects and result
The result is a hardware and software prototype that can log and analyze CAN data, ROS data, and camera data in real time with over 95% accuracy. The effect is faster insights, lower costs, and increased data security compared to traditional data loggers.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is divided into three work packages: 1. Design and Technical Development (requirement specification, hardware and software development). 2. Validation and Demonstration (testing, results analysis). 3. Project Closure and Dissemination (final reporting, commercialization plan).
