Results and expected effects

The work is expected to result a Swedish node in the upcoming Manufacturing-KIC. The core group has worked on Swedish and European level for an early announcement of Manufacturing and creating national and European structure for Manufacturing KIC. Priorities in a Swedish node has been harmonized with the work of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Production.

Approach and implementation

The structure of the national platform Manufuture SE were used as basis for the activities.. Nationally, work with Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Production facilitated the establishment of Swedish priorities. At European level, work has been linked to Manufuture and EFFRA and the planned application for Manufacturing KIC supported by them. In the dialogue with companies and organizations outside the core group the ambiguity of when / if an announcement Manufacturing-KIC will come have been a difficulty.
