Important results from the project

Yes, the project’s goals have been achieved through a comprehensive needs and context analysis and the development of a workshop method for collaboration. The work has produced a method and action plan for change in residential areas. Together, these provide a foundation for ongoing work to improve health, safety, and social sustainability in the municipality, while also helping to strengthen the area’s resilience and ability to meet future challenges.

Expected long term effects

In the long term, the project is expected to strengthen health, safety, and social sustainability in residential areas through the developed method and action plan. The established collaboration and new contacts create opportunities for joint initiatives that reduce loneliness, increase community, and provide inclusive meeting places. The effects can enhance the area’s reputation, strengthen resilience, and contribute to long-term sustainable and safe living environments.
