Important results from the project
All objectives have been achieved. Not least, the anchoring work has been particularly successful. The importance of a strategic management of knowledge assets is now, where relevant, incorporated into the work with Swedish Futures, IVA’s visionary project.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to contribute to a more coordinated and strategic management of knowledge-based assets in Sweden, strengthening the innovation system and increasing opportunities for growth and competitiveness. In the long term, this may lead to more innovations, better utilization of research, and an increased ability to attract investments.
Approach and implementation
The project commenced with broad communications to foster engagement. A reference group consisting of experts from academia and industry was appointed. The work was led by Christina Wainikka in collaboration with IVA’s Research2Business. The project followed a detailed plan, adjusting as needed and developing in line with its objectives. Collaboration worked well thanks to diversity and continuous check-ins. Unexpected situations were managed within the established framework.
