Planning project for Horizon Europe - call within cluster 1-health

Reference number
Coordinator Region Skåne - Skånes universitetssjukhus Lund
Funding from Vinnova SEK 300 000
Project duration June 2025 - September 2025
Status Completed
Venture Global cooperation 2025
Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Important results from the project

The goal of the project was to submit a proposal for a call within HORIZON Innovation Actions, which was achieved. We built an international and competent consortium, and included 3 new partners. Coordination of writing worked well, which resulted in a competitive proposal being submitted on time. The project also contributed to identifying new innovation opportunities, which strengthens the project´s competitiveness for the given call.

Expected long term effects

Should the main project be funded by the EU, we expect that it will contribute to increased collaboration between European industry and research in automation and AI for ATMP production. In the long run, this could create new IP opportunities, strengthen Sweden´s position in advanced manufacturing, and pave the way for future EU-funded projects with broader international participation.

Approach and implementation

The project followed its plan with three work packages that delivered according to the objective. WP1 focused on coordination (Region Skåne was coordinator for the writing) of the proposal, in WP2 an innovation analysis was carried out with a consultant to strengthen the innovation level, and WP3 identified and onboarded new partners. The collaboration worked very well, the schedule was kept. Problems that arose could be resolved effectively.
