Important results from the project
The project has three parts. IPR has been reviewed and we have a much better understanding of how IPR tools will be used by us. On the regulatory side, Oncoalgorithms is recently certified according to ISO 13485 and within the framework of this work, regulatory strategies for AI products have been developed. The AI part became a little different than planned. Oncoalgorithms joined an initiative to measure covid-19, led by sister company A23 Lab AB. Oncoalgorithms contributes ML / AI tools to ensure the highest quality in delivered results
Expected long term effects
The goals have been met in the following sense: IPR scenarios have been evaluated and the company knows better how to best use intellectual property in this area. Regulatory is completely clarified. AI competence has been greatly strengthened within Oncoalgorithms. New staff has been hired and the product portfolio has become stronger.
Approach and implementation
The three sub-projects have worked relatively independently. IPR and Regulatory mostly involve document analysis and strategy discussions. The AI / ML part is both theoretical and practical in the sense that methods need to be developed as well as implemented in order to be put into live operation. For the AI/ML part, Oncoalgorithms has been part of a larger context where various project partners have contributed with expertise in data management and analysis.
