Purpose and goal
We have received confirmation that the evaluation methodology that is the basis for the test operations in Norrlandicus is innovative and relevant. For external customers who wants to test implementera innovations in a real elder care environment and the municipal elderly care process to see if the new products and services can help enhance the quality of their assignments. The project reached the stages and performed the milestones that were set in the project.
Results and expected effects
(See text above) The project had hoped but not expected that different parts of the municpality care organization would come to the project with problems that can be addressed and resolved with the help of new products and services. Some of this can be explained by some collaborative processes such as Sundsvall Municipality´s commitment to LEAN in home care should have started a year earlier. But mostly, however, concerns that the project only been running for a year.
Approach and implementation
We had a clear structure and we worked systematically with the project. What we see today is that we might have´missioned´ innovation in various working groups from the outset. Mainly to start exploring new ways of forge elder care with innovations earlier. However, to prove that a test environment with the NOrrlandicus method is relevant within the first year was a huge task that we feel we´ve accoplished.
