NJORD - Naval Joint Observation for Real-time Detection - Stage 2

Purpose and goal

The project aims to strengthen PandionAI’s ability to commercialize satellite-based information analysis for both civil and defense-related applications. The objective is to develop a clear dual-use strategy, business model, and market positioning for NJORD, enabling operational use within critical infrastructure, security, and defense contexts.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in a validated dual-use strategy and a market-ready offering based on NJORD. Anticipated effects include increased readiness to deliver satellite-based decision support to critical actors, strengthened innovation capacity within security and resilience, and improved conditions for future civil-military collaborations.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out through participation in an accelerator program focused on dual-use development. Activities include strategic business development such as business model design, market analysis, pricing, and positioning towards civil and defense markets. The work is conducted in close dialogue with relevant security and resilience stakeholders.
