Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a training module in negotiation, specifically focused on startup financing for incubators. The module is designed as a two-day practical workshop that builds on the theoretical foundation provided in the training module Financial Design for Startups (FDS).

The negotiation training module is a strategic intervention in the startup ecosystem, designed to reduce structural inequities, enhance the resilience of new ventures, and amplify the potential of innovation to drive both economic growth and the green transition. By equipping the next generation of founders and coaches with advanced negotiation skills, we ensure that promising startups not only survive the early financing challenges but thrive.
Planned approach and implementation
The pilot project will be conducted from December 2025 to August 2026: 1/ Design and content production, during December to March, 2/ Iterative testing and tweaking, during April to June, 3/ Final packaging and polishing, during July to August. Project management, workshop design and content production will be done by Per Hulthén as a consultant. Testing will be done first in-house at GU Ventures in two rounds, and then in a third round with two additional incubators.
