Purpose and goal
An API was developed that enables integration of Nagoon´s innovative Augmented Reality platform and location-based services into existing customer solutions. Real-time communication with the API over the web socket allows everything from web pages to game engines to add Nagoon´s functionality to its offerings.
Expected results and effects
1. Customer needs and required functionality was defined. 2. The Nagoon API was developed. 3. API was tested in real-life settings with paying pilot customers. 4. Intellectual property resources were defined and the protection of the same has been initiated in cooperation with external experts.
Planned approach and implementation
The project was on time and on schedule over the course of the project. Involving customers in the development process has overall been an effective and productive method , although some more time for testing would have been helpful. During the process of developing the API, a number of new commersial collaborations have been initiated that would not have been possible without the improved workflow that the API entails.
