Important results from the project

Yes, the goals were fulfilled. The pre-study has made an inventory of Swedish actors willing to contribute to building this multiagent-system ecosystem, and of their needs and challenges. Building on the challenges and the state-or-the art study, future studies and initiatives has been suggested. These studies point out the need for working with creation of sharable resources, quality and validation, management and orchestration.

Expected long term effects

The overall goal of the coming project is to make Swedish industry internationally competitive using multiagent system for innovation, production and business development. The long-term effects relate to building and sharing knowledge, obtaining trust in multiagent systems, showcased value in industry, standards in place. It is clear that MAS can multiply knowledge and capability of teams, delivering added value, drive cost reduction and improve operational outcomes, with 24/7availability.

Approach and implementation

The industrial needs have been analysed using surveys, telephone interviews and workshops. Comparisons with global surveys has also been made. A state of the art study of the research landscape has been performed and shared. The partners have had discussion of future activities aiming to make sure that Swedish industrial companies have prerequisites to implement scalable, secure and sustainable AI MAS solutions that clearly strengthen their competitiveness.
