Purpose and goal
Ecological restoration of post-mining landscapes is critical for a sustainable mining industry worldwide. Boreal Orchards is developing solutions for post-mining rehabilitation and our solutions are being evaluated in Sweden, but we are targeting a global market. Participation at PDAC 2026 will be a good opportunity further explore for potential collaborations, partnerships and commercial opportunities in the Canadian/North American market.
Expected effects and result
In the past year we developed leading contacts within the Canadian/North American mining and mining restoration sector, with TECK and Integral Ecology Group being among the organizations with whom we have advanced concrete project plans. Our short-term goal is connecting with more Canadian mining organisations, networking and evaluating potential opportunities across the ocean. The long-term goal is to export our products and services there, potentially opening a North America subsidiary.

Participation at PDAC 2026 will be a good opportunity further explore for potential collaborations, partnerships and commercial opportunities in the Canadian/North American market. Durring the trip we will also have meetings and site visits organised with Integral Ecology Group and WSP.
