Important results from the project

Boreal Orchards is developing solutions for post-mining rehabilitation targeting global market. South America is an important mining region and this delegation was an opportunity for us to look for potential collaborations, partnerships and commercial opportunities. Our concept and solutions raised high interest durring all the meetings. We will follow up on these early discussions and are planning a follow up visit next year to see specific restoration needs and sites in both Chile and Peru.

Expected long term effects

Running pilot projects to begin with at several locations and with several clients. Establishing a potential presence in South America. Growing the business globally.

Approach and implementation

We relied on Business Sweden agenda for the trip while coordinating specific aspects to maximize our meetings with mining companies and/or organizations during the program. Follow up activities are also being conducted. The project went according to plan.
