|Call||Nationell individrörlighet för innovation|
Purpose and goal
The project aims at, through mobility of the project manager, strengthening the cooperation between SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and Lund University. The participating organizations will explore the potential of using the microbiological analysis method flow cytometry for applications related to personal hygiene. The project manager will strengthen her scientific merits and network.
Expected results and effects
Knowledge of the technology available at Lund University will be transferred to SP, creating future business opportunities for SP in a planned implementation of flow cytometry in their laboratory. LU is given the opportunity to expand the application area of its existing analysis platform. The project manager will strengthen her scientific merit and network, providing professional development and extended future career opportunities. The project is intended to give collaboration opportunities also after the end of the project, for example, in the form of joint research projects.
Planned approach and implementation
The work will be performed by mobility of the project manager employed at SP Food and Bioscience to Applied Microbiology at Lund University for a total of three man months. During this period the project manager will participate in the Readership (Docent) course at the Faculty of Engineering, work with flow cytometry projects at Applied Microbiology, and write at least one joint application to obtain research grants for future projects.
