MeWe&You – Digital platform for workplace menopause support aligned with ISO 45010

Purpose and goal

The project develops and validates the first HR and workplace module in MeWe&You – a digital platform that strengthens women’s health and work ability during menopause while providing employers with tools for a more sustainable work environment. It builds on previous Vinnova results showing improved health and work ability among women. The next step is to create and validate a prototype aligned with ISO 45010, where menopause is recognized as a workplace issue.

Expected effects and result

The project will result in a tested and validated prototype of the HR and workplace module in MeWe&You, demonstrating how menopause can be integrated into workplace health efforts in line with ISO 45010. Expected effects include increased awareness of women’s health at work, reduced sick leave, and strengthened gender equality. The results form the basis for a market-ready solution in the next phase.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out in four stages: employer needs analysis, development of a testable HR and workplace module, pilot testing in 1–2 organizations, and evaluation with a plan for further development. The work is conducted in close collaboration with HR experts, researchers, and ISO consultants to ensure relevance, quality, and scalability for the next phase.
