Purpose and goal

Medic Solution Nordic´s developed MAX24, a modular healthcare unit that establishes on site within 24 hours and meets civilian healthcare requirements for cleanliness, which is unique. The project addresses a need for Robust and Resilient Infrastructure and Preparedness within NATO´s prioritized technology areas, Robust Civilian Infrastructure. MAX24 is a new generation healthcare infrastructure that is built on autonomy, modularity and endurance between civilian and military healthcare needs.

Expected effects and result

A business model based on subscriptions for preparedness with dual-use while maintaining quality of care in a cost efficient way. Positionera Sverige as a pioneer country in autonomous healthcare systems. NONE of Sweden´s regions currently have the capacity to provide healthcare elsewhere, which is a NATO-eligibility requirements. MAX 24 enables qualitative healthcare systems via dual-use with socio-economic benefits as well. Large export opportunities such as Ukraine, Gaza, WHO and the UN.

Planned approach and implementation

The project includes technical development of automated provisioning functions, clinical validation in collaboration with Katastrofmedicin NÄL, development of subscription models for emergency services, logistics analysis for NATO interoperability. The company will also participate in a dedicated Accelerator programme in the project
