| Call | Planning grant for international proposal 2026 |
Purpose and goal
The project aims to prepare a full EIC Accelerator 2026 application under Challenge 1 – Advanced Materials for Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems. Epishine has been officially invited to submit a Stage 2 full proposal after passing the Stage 1 evaluation with a positive result. The goal is to submit a competitive application requesting €2.5M in grant funding and €10M in equity investment by the 2 September 2026 deadline.
Expected effects and result
The project delivers a complete EIC Accelerator application with all mandatory annexes: Part B, implementation plan, budget, financial projections, pitch deck, letters of intent, and FTO analysis. A successful EIC grant will enable the LIGHTBOOST project to double OneCell´s power density (µW/cm²), halving material costs per unit and enabling profitable mass production of Epishine´s organic photovoltaic cell for indoor light energy harvesting.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is carried out by Epishine AB with support from grant writing consultant Sink or Swim Innovation AB, running from 1 June to 2 September 2026. Work is structured in four packages: WP1 Proposal Plan (June), WP2 Core Proposal including Part B, implementation plan, and budget (June–Aug), WP3 Mandatory Annexes including pitch deck, letters of intent, and FTO analysis (July–Aug), and WP4 Review and Submission (Aug–Sept).
