Important results from the project

The project achieved its goals and generated new insights into the psychological mechanisms that strengthen lifelong learning—especially intrinsic motivation, curiosity, and self-reflection. The results show how personality and intelligence influence learning and adaptability, and how digital tools can support motivation and self-regulation. The project also fostered collaboration and contributed to developing sustainable learning environments and increased innovation capacity.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to strengthen lifelong learning by deepening understanding of how motivation, curiosity, self-reflection, and personality influence learning and adaptability. In the long term, the results may lead to personalized digital tools, more effective education and training initiatives, and learning environments that enhance innovation, well-being, and sustainable societal development.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out as planned with regular meetings and parallel research activities between universities and partners RISE, Nox Consulting, and The Park. It included surveys, longitudinal data analysis, a digital intervention, a scoping review, and interviews with pilot cadets. The timeline was mostly followed, though participant recruitment and the extensive literature review caused delays. Collaboration worked very well and developed as intended.
