Purpose and goal
The aim of the project was to design and develop a prototype for tools that will give retail investors access to advanced investment strategies. During the project, we have developed such a design and built prototypes based on feedback from usability tests and new partnerships with several relevant institutions in the financial market. We launched a beta version during the Money20/20 conference in Amsterdam 4-6 June and now selected test customers can register directly on the website and get access to simplified investment tools.
Expected results and effects
The portal is in production and the beta customers can register to get an early access to the investment tools. We have started marketing of the portal and have several ongoing sales processes. We expect to receive valuable feedback from users of the system, to further improve the tools and start a collaboration with a large Nordic bank to distribute the solution together.
Planned approach and implementation
We started by analyzing our existing tools professional investor, identifying which parts of the system were too complex for retail investors. After that, we developed a simplified design with input from partners, evaluated it and refined in several steps. Finally, a beta version of the platform was launched. Our conclusion is that retail investors need guidance and simple tools to make their investment decisions. We have built a beta version of the solution focusing on meeting these requirements. The budget required 734 400 SEK less due to delays with hiring of senior personell.
