Purpose and goal

The purpose is to enable large scale introduction of Atium´s ion separator in dental care and thereby reduce mercury emissions to water. The goal is to, together with Sweden Recycling AB, verify performance, customer value and the full value chain through field tests and to develop a commercialization plan for launch on the Swedish market.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to deliver field tested installations of Atium´s ion separator at dental clinics, verified performance and customer value, and a complete commercialization plan including value chain and business model. In the longer term this enables reduced mercury emissions, improved environmental performance in dental care and a competitive Swedish green technology offering.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out over one year together with Sweden Recycling and selected dental clinics. The work is structured into four work packages: project management and reporting, installation and field testing of the ion separator, verification of value chain and user acceptance, and business development and commercialization planning.
