Purpose and goal
The advisors will develop their regional projects through acquisition of knowledge, experience and inspiration. This will help the idea owners benefiting from network connections through collaboration between industry, the public sector and universities/colleges. The purpose of clarifying an innovation system has been difficult to achieve, which requires a more strategic work during a longer period of time.
Results and expected effects
As the network has brought together various stakeholders within the industry and created a forum for exchanging knowledge and experience, participants have inspired each other to new ways of working, focusing on innovation, learning and collaboration. The contacts created has allowed for a faster startup and a more efficient operation of the regional projects, while also been able to make comparisons with each other in order to gain knowledge regarding best practice. As the new regional projects started, the participants shared their tips and advice.
Approach and implementation
The project ´Network for Innovation in Health Care´ has been driven by Almi Företagspartner Jönköping AB from 01-10-2012 to 31-01-2014. Financial providers were Vinnova and Almi Holding, and the project team consisted of a Project Manager and five Advisors from various regional innovation groups. The project team met numerous times to plan the operation, and were responsible for the website, activities, contact lists, external contacts, as well as the contact and reporting to principals and financiers.
