Purpose and goal
The aim is to identify ideas and strategies to reduce hospital acquired infections due to medical devices. The way is to establish a consortium that addresses these challenges in a project that involves users in the clinic and partners from academia and industry. Key to A phase is to define the clinical problems. Other deliverables include technical solutions, strategies covering the value chain from idea to commercialization, establishment of an IP agreement, and a project plan for the B stage.
