Call Individual mobility within 6G for collaborations with the USA and Singapore

Purpose and goal

The project aims to strengthen and expand the strategic collaboration between RISE and National University of Singapore in digital infrastructure for 6G. Through researcher mobility, the project enables laboratory-based experimental work, knowledge exchange and joint research that are otherwise limited by geographical distance. The goal is to combine complementary competencies in thermal management, cooling technology and digital infrastructure to strengthen research and innovation.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in experimental data, scientific publications, joint methodologies and enhanced research capacity in digital infrastructure for 6G. The collaboration will contribute to long-term research networks, competence development and increased international visibility. In the long term, the results are expected to foster innovation and create new collaboration or business opportunities within telecom, data centers and digital infrastructure.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be carried out through a researcher exchange between RISE and the National University of Singapore. Activities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, data collection, analysis, and joint interpretation of results. Knowledge, methods, and tools will be shared through workshops and research discussions. Results will be disseminated through scientific publications and integrated into ongoing R&D and testbed activities.
