Project duration October 2026 - June 2027
Status Ongoing
Venture Inkubationsstöd
Call Develop and streamline working methods and tools within the innovation support system

Purpose and goal

The purpose is to investigate and validate the need for more systematic and less person-dependent working methods for incubators´ investor relations, assess the demand for such working methods among incubators, investors and innovation-supporting actors, and create decision-making data for continued development. The goal is to verify working methods that strengthen regional incubators´ ability to build, structure and manage investor relations and their pivotal role in capital support.

Expected effects and result

Expected results are knowledge of which working methods show sufficient demand, feasibility and benefit for further development, what can form a common methodological core and what requires local adaptation. The feasibility study will show how results can be taken forward and shared with more incubators and others. If later developed and introduced, these methods can reduce personal dependence and contribute to clearer feedback, stronger capital maturity and clear understanding of investability.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has three work packages. Firstly, a common test design, interview guide, documentation and validation criteria are developed. Then, 12-15 interviews and 2-3 comparable validation activities occur in 3 incubator environments. Movexum is an external validation and recipient environment. Results are analyzed based on demand, feasibility, benefit, resource needs, gender equality, sustainability and spreadability, with recommendations on which methods to take forward, adjust or eliminate.
