Purpose and goal

Ignite Sweden will help startups to grow faster to major international companies by accelerating verification, business collaboration, and ultimate customer billing for startup companies. This is done by matching innovative startups with large companies across Sweden, as well as supporting the parties to initiate collaborations through coaching and process management. The project will continuously document and spread best practices for corporate- startup collaborations. The project will also develop the engaged incubators´ expertise in the field.

Expected results and effects

Ignite Sweden will increase collaboration between corporations and startups through: - Running activities and processes for corporations and startups to meet - Coach start-ups and business in how to start collaborations - Increase collaboration between business and incubators Quantitative Objectives 2018: At least 20 major companies in the program At least 8 matchmaking events in at least four places At least 100 committed startups A total of 20 initiated commercial partnerships, accumulated results 2017-18 Established a networking platform between large companies

Planned approach and implementation

Ignite Sweden is intended to be a project for 3 years, after which it will be continued in normal business according to the business model the project has developed. Activities: Initiate collaborations between startups and corporations by arranging activities Support corporations and startups in how to start collaboration Establish Ignite as a national tool Strengthen the network between incubators and corporations Document and disseminate best practices Develop supporting digital tools Establish a national network of corporations about how to drive innovation with startups
