Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of developing and demonstrating solutions for coordinated home deliveries in rural areas with existing transportation has been fulfilled. The solutions contribute to fulfilling the overall goal and the sub-goals have been implemented. The business model is the sub-goal that most clearly needs to be further developed, as well as details about legal and practical obstacles, example, public transport to deliver packages, entrepreneurs to deliver other people´s packages. Solutions are long-term and do not only apply during the pandemic.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Three municipalities have developed concepts for integrated home deliveries based on coordination of public and private actors. The platform has been developed and adapted for microhubbs for increased coordination and local user interface for public and private actors. The solutions are generic and do not only apply during a pandemic. All three municipalities continue to work on the issue. Mora and Orsa will apply for funding to test home delivery to parcel cabinets / hubs with Dalatrafik.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project was carried out as planned in five steps. A local reference group was formed in each location, which has been an advantage in the process. Three digital workshops have been conducted where project participants and reference groups for the three locations participated together. Learning and examples between the places have enriched and developed the concept of each place. The concept of local e-commerce became more important than expected during the pandemic. Business models have been touched on but remain to be resolved.
