Purpose and goal
The aim is to establish strategic partnerships and secure raw material supplies for GREEN14´s future Swedish production of critical materials. Through visits to Albemarle (lithium), Lynas (rare earths), Mt Carbine (tungsten) and Currumbin Minerals (titanium) as well as participation in the IMARC conference in Sydney, we will develop MOUs and supply agreements. This strengthens Sweden´s position as a hub for sustainable CRM production and reduces dependence on high-risk suppliers.
Expected effects and result
Expected results include MOUs and supply agreements for rare earths, tungsten and titanium securing raw material access to GREEN14´s demonstration plant. The conference generates a pipeline of customers and partners for commercialization. In the long term, the project contributes to a European supply chain for critical materials with >90% lower emissions than imports from China, strengthens the EU´s strategic autonomy, creates Swedish jobs in metallurgy and positions GREEN14 for licensing.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be implemented in October 2025 with a trip to Australia. Together with the EU Commission, Albemarle (lithium), Lynas (REE), Mt Carbine (tungsten) and Currumbin Minerals (titanium) will be visited. Participation in the IMARC conference in Sydney provides access to industry networks and B2B meetings. Preparatory work includes coordination with the EU delegation, planning for site visits and scheduling of meetings. Follow-up after the trip ensures continued cooperation for GREEN14.
