Venture Acceleration of deep tech companies

Purpose and goal

The primary goals are to secure the first customer order for an minimum viable product (MVP) and successfully deliver and invoice the first commercial product. The project´s purpose is to transition pyramidal microLED technology from successful R&D to commercial deployment. Building on the successful development of green, microLEDs, the project focuses on industrialization of the first green microLED product integrated with a CMOS backplane.

Expected effects and result

The project will establish the company´s first commercial sales by securing an minimum viable product (MVP) order and completing delivery to a customer. These milestones will validate the technology, demonstrate manufacturing readiness, and provide a reference case for future customers. The project is expected to accelerate commercialization, strengthen Sweden´s position in advanced microLED technology, and support the company´s growth towards projected revenues of 100 to 200 MSEK in 2027.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is structured around two key milestones: (1) securing a signed customer order for the first MVP product and (2) delivering, invoicing, and validating the first commercial product. Activities include scaling manufacturing from R&D to low-volume production, integrating the pyramidal microLED frontplane with a CMOS backplane, customer engagement, product qualification, and delivery. The work builds directly on the successful technical achievements from previous project stages.
