Purpose and goal

Results and expected effects

Green Cleaning will be an open and neutral test bed providing independent testing of products, services and processes. Other areas of activity are the development, training, certification and technical intelligence. SIK is the planned owner. Green Cleaning will lead to increased development and use of environmentally smart and effective solutions for cleaning and disinfection in the food industry, which in turn leads to less resource consumption, and increased economic growth and food quality.

Approach and implementation

The project was led by SIK in collaboration with SP Certification and the hygiene technology company Lagafors AB. The work was carried out at four internal project working meetings.
