Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to advance Tenutec’s graphene-based nanofluid from laboratory research to pilot-scale readiness, enabling a new generation of sustainable cooling solutions for data centers. The goal is to refine and validate a nanofluid formulation with over 20% higher thermal conductivity and stable long-term performance, leading to potentially 15–20% reductions in cooling energy use and water consumption.

Expected effects and result

The project will deliver a validated graphene-based nanofluid with proven 20 % higher thermal conductivity and long-term stability in lab-scale tests. A scalable production method will be designed, and key parameters for quality assurance and reproducibility will be established. The project will also result in secured IP protection, a clear business model, and Letters of Intent from early adopters.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will optimize Tenutec’s graphene-based nanofluid and prepare it for pilot-scale production and market readiness. Laboratory validation, process development, and initial customer engagement will be carried out in close collaboration with experts from Chalmers University. The structured approach ensures that technical verification, sustainability assessment, and business preparation are completed efficiently, enabling the first large-scale demonstration and future commercialization.
