Funding from Vinnova SEK 7 000 000
Project duration December 2017 - March 2019
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project aims to enable standards to be applied according to a given working method within Swedish e-health. The goal is to test and document such a working method for some different standards by applying it to a given set of data. Work also aims to present a path towards a common framework of standards for interoperability in the form of a strategy for interoperable information management.

Expected results and effects

The project partly delivers results for how to apply different standards for a given amount of information in a sub-process. An analysis of the NI and Contsys standards is also presented. The report also contains a description of a method for achieving appropriate data and data management in a care process. A strategy for interoperable information management is presented and a number of recommendations for further work.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has mainly been carried out as group work in various constellations within the project group. Several physical meetings have been held, but most work has been done at online meetings. Sub-reports have been submitted along the way. The planning has had to be continuously adapted to handle new experiences and certain additional work. A considerable amount of time has also been spent on analyzing discussions and dialogues. The work has been documented in a final report.
