Important results from the project
The project strengthened FirstQFM’s EIC Accelerator application through technical and commercial validation. The successful short proposal received the highest possible result, 4/4, and FirstQFM was invited to Stage 2. In parallel, the full proposal was developed, technical and commercial evidence was strengthened, the IP portfolio expanded, and the team grew.
Expected long term effects
The results are expected to accelerate validation and commercialization of machine learning foundation models that improve the performance and scalability of quantum computers. Unanimous approval at EIC Stage 1 and the invitation to Stage 2 strengthen the basis for financing and international scale-up.
Approach and implementation
The work followed three integrated tracks: the EIC short proposal, technical and commercial validation, and preparation of the full proposal. The short proposal passed and resulted in an invitation to Stage 2. At the same time, the company secured pilots and partnerships to validate the core technology. The full proposal was prepared in parallel.
