Important results from the project
An update to the CRML specification and a new prototype compiler version have been released. RapidSSP 3rd party toolbox for automated extraction and expression of parameter values according to the SSP standard, Embrace.ssp: captures industry quality requirements of simulator applications expressed in the FMI and SSP standards, new version of IDA-ICE with Automatic parallelization by decoupling large-scale models, new module with support for integration of external user interfaces in IDA-ICE and IDA-ESBO in IDA ICE, Implementation of SSP standard support in Catia.
Expected long term effects
Tool support and improved methodology will shorten the development time and reduce miscommunication around requirement fulfillment. Support for large-scale systems makes it possible to shorten test time and validate design solutions. This will reduce development time and increase sales potential.
Approach and implementation
The project has relied on connection to existing standards (Modelica, FMI, SSP and SysMLv2) and tool extensions have been implemented in existing partner tools (OpenModelica, Modelon Impact, Catia, IDE ICE), new tools and packages have been developed (CRML2Modelica compiler, RapidSSP)
