Purpose and goal

DELIVER-IT submitted its application on October 24th. The consortium is coordinated by the University Medical Center in Utrecht. It consists of mainly Dutch, Belgian and Swedish partners. IHE and KI participate and are expected to lead the work in a few areas: EHDN´s governance and stakeholder engagement. Health Solutions will contribute to the development of a sustainable business model. In parallel, the consortium has also sought support from different influencers, such as from Sweden´s coordinator for Life-Science.

Expected results and effects

IMI is expected to announce which consortium has progressed to phase 2 in early 2018. A full proposal will be submitted by May 16, 2018. The winning consortium is expected to start its work in the second half of 2018. Swedish biobanks and health data and quality records have good reputation internationally and should be able to contribute strongly in building the network. The network can help promote increased interoperability of the Swedish registries and biobanks.

Planned approach and implementation

DELIVERY-IT´s partner composition balances several different aspects: 1. Technical expertise and knowledge with leaders who can inspire and contribute to creating a positive ecosystem between data holders, users and patients, build trust based on the understanding of the interests and perspectives of different stakeholders. 2. Experience from previous projects underlying EHDN (eg EMIF, GetREAL, EHR4CR, OHDSI), access to their results and foreground with entrepreneurs who can contribute new ideas and innovation.
