Reference number
Coordinator Opatus AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 191 543
Project duration October 2019 - October 2020
Status Completed
Venture Medtech4Health: Competence Enhancement in SME

Purpose and goal

The purpose has been to increase the company´s own competence in marketing and sales in order to be able to effectively continue the commercialization phase and expansion. The goal was to prepare a communication plan and marketing plan to facilitate sales, but also to clarify the company´s strategic goals for investors and future partners. Opatus is a small company and it has been important to identify the customer group and market in order to maintain focus.

Expected results and effects

The project has led to a new strategy and communication plan where we focus on three markets for a specific customer group with segmentation and targeting. The expected effects are that we get an internal clarity that helps us focus. A clear customer offering will provide new customers / partners and increased sales. A partnership gives us the opportunity to reach the American market much earlier than expected. A partner collaboration gives us the opportunity to reach the US market much earlier than expected.

Planned approach and implementation

Opatus has developed a business and marketing plan, communication plan, sales strategy / plan and carried out a marketing process together with Per Setterberg, Perceptive Consulting as a coach and active employee. We have carried out an evaluation and reached a consensus on each project part.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
