Important results from the project

We aimed to create an empathic and social chatbot for handling anxiety and health anxiety in open conversations. The project´s goal was to create a prototype and test it on the target group. In order to analyze, compare and evaluate complex questions, and create answers in a reassuring, credible way, we must develop completely new conceptual models and new system architecture. The project´s goals have been partly achieved through a theoretical model and technical prototype. We are now confident to build an MVP in the next step which can be used by the target group.

Expected long term effects

The result is a cohesive model for a new generation of chatbots capable of handling open dialogues in a credible and traceable way. Models and system designs include a new kind of graph database as well as novel applications for Natural Language Processing. We now have a cohesive model of how the system can be built. The next step is an MVP for our target group and the purpose of relieving anxiety and health anxiety.

Approach and implementation

We found that existing conceptual models and technical systems for the advanced and robust platform required by our application were not sufficient. Thus, we needed to develop both novel theories and new system architecture in order to achieve our goals. We have learned about users´ needs and behaviors in several workshops with our partner on the market. Given the unexpected extensive new development, the technical prototype has not yet been developed so far that it has been possible to test it in user situations.
