Important results from the project
The main objective of Productive4.0 is to achieve improvement of digitalizing the European industry by electronics and ICT. Ultimately, the project aims at suitability for everyday application across all industrial sectors up to TRL8. It addresses various industrial domains with one and the same approach of digitalization. What makes the project unique is the holistic system approach of consistently focusing on the three main pillars: digital production (DP), supply chain networks (SNC) and product lifecycle management (PLM), all of which interact and influence each other.
Expected long term effects
The project have meet all stated objectives. Regarding impact industrial partners are now using the architecture and its referens implementation Eclipse Arrowhead framework in products and solution to customers. In addition other companies have to the market release products based on Eclipse Arrowhead framework. At the final review 5 achievement where highlighted of which 3 of them addressed the common architecture e.g. impact on upcoming standards like SysML 2
Approach and implementation
The project have been conducted in 3 phases, one per year. Within each phase two major workshops have been organised by LTU with support of local organisers at various place in Europe. This has been very appreciated by the coordinator, Infineon, and almost all other work packages. Thanks to these workshops a very good and fruitful integration of project activities have been achieved.
