Purpose and goal

This project is a continuation of a previous DUO2 project where technical solutions to enable a significant reduction in fuel consumption for volume-limited vehicle combinations have been developed. The hypothesis was that high capacity vehicles reduce energy usage per unit being transported.

Expected results and effects

The goal was to reduce fuel consumption by 25% per DUO-trailer and 20% for DUO-CAT. We have reached the target.
