Expected long term effects

It is expected that the project will result in a proposal for a collaborative project. The long-term impact of the project is to realize further potential in industrial digitalization through standardized data exchange and improved interoperability that provides scaling effects.

Approach and implementation

The project which has organized recurrent meetings where additional stakeholders have joined was carried out through three focus areas: First, the work was coordinated, and the purpose and expectations were communicated. Industrial companies and academia were mobilized through interviews and meetings to gather needs and formulate intent. Finally, the collected input resulted in a report and a framework for a future collaboration project.
