Important results from the project

We have developed 2 kinds of filter prototypes, one of which was not envisaged when the project started. Extensive material characterization has been conducted in order to achieve both a suitable filter structure and the best possible performance, with an emphasis on ensuring that we can tune the material composition of the filter prototype according to the requirements of different applications. Preliminary performance data have been collected. We will soon present performance data that will be used in the development of our value proposition towards potential customers.

Expected long term effects

We have sucessfully produced prototypes while the development of testing methodology to evaluate prototype performance is almost completed. This means that we will soon obtain the performance data requested by some potential partners and customers we have been in contact with. This data will allow us to move forward in several of the ongoing discussions regarding collaborations, which will most likely result in an earlier market introduction as well as sooner utilization of our technology in the fight against water-related issues that plague our planet.

Approach and implementation

We stuck to the original plan with the exception that an additional kind of prototype was included in the project. The decision to include it resulted in a delay in prototype design as well as in the development of testing methodology. We have therefore only been able to perform preliminary tests thus far. The budget turned out to be quite accurate, although some deviations in terms of different cost categories occured.
