Important results from the project

Northern Waves successfully submitted Step 1 and Step 2 EIC Accelerator applications, with Step 1 positively evaluated. The project also strengthened the company narrative, refined the business model, and defined a clear roadmap to scale production of advanced antenna components, enhancing engagement with customers, partners, and investors.

Expected long term effects

If funded, the project will enable Northern Waves to scale production of advanced, custom high-frequency antenna components using additive manufacturing. This will accelerate next-generation connectivity, strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy in telecom and satellite systems, and support industrial adoption of high-performance antennas. In the long term, it will enhance global connectivity, drive innovation, and position Northern Waves as a leading provider of cutting-edge antenna solutions.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as planned by the Northern Waves team, with strategic guidance from Civitta. The work encompassed the planning, analysis, and preparation of all sections of the EIC Accelerator Step 1 and Step 2 proposals - including company overview, technical excellence, technology development roadmap, and business strategy. Civitta provided structured support through targeted workshops, continuous feedback, and quality assurance to ensure a coherent, high-quality application.
