Purpose and goal
The project aims to prepare a strong joint application for the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 call on new CO₂ capture technologies from point sources and direct air capture (DAC). It focuses on strengthening and expanding the consortium through networking and mobility, and developing a high-quality, competitive proposal to advance innovative CO₂ capture solutions.
Expected effects and result
At the end of the project, a strong consortium of experts from both academia and industry, with complementary multidisciplinary expertise, is expected to be established. This consortium will not only target the specific EU call but also foster long-term collaboration beyond the project. In addition, a competitive final proposal to the EU call will be completed and submitted on time.
Planned approach and implementation
To strengthen networking and collaboration, biweekly online meetings will be held with all partners. Study visits to industrial partners will support knowledge exchange and clarify industry needs. An on-site workshop at SU will enhance networking and expand the consortium. An external consultant will assist in preparing the final proposal.
