Purpose and goal

Dalarna Science Parks Incubator will contribute to more innovative, knowledge-intensive and sustainable growth companies with international competitiveness in the region. New business ideas will be identified and verified in aim to select the right company for incubation. The goal of the incubation is to ensure through active coaching that the companies get a functioning management and board, functioning coworkers, an attractive product portfolio, active sales, growth according to established metrics and a sustainability plan.

Expected effects and result

More innovative, knowledge-intensive and sustainable growth companies with international competitiveness will have increased opportunities to develop their company even faster. The incubation process must provide the skills, capital and contacts that are necessary for the companies´ expansion. With more resources, the attractiveness of more people wanting to start and build sustainable growth companies with the goal of solving more global challenges increases.

Planned approach and implementation

The selection work will be expanded to find more potential business ideas that are innovative, knowledge-intensive and sustainable with international competitiveness in the region. More competent coaches nationally and internationally will be linked to the incubation process in order to contribute competence to the companies but also increase the attractiveness of the Incubator. A structure will be set up to give companies the opportunity to apply for verification funds. Sustainability work with the companies will still be central to the process.
