Purpose and goal
The project aims to investigate the possibilities for a joint night staffing of nurses between Tierps municipality and Region Uppsala. The goal is to find resource-efficient and patient-safe solutions that create security for residents at night, regardless of the principal. The project contributes to SustainGov´s mission by promoting collaboration in complex care needs and creating more person-centered care.
Expected effects and result
Tierp has a low population density, a high proportion of the elderly and recruitment challenges, making coordination particularly relevant. Expected results are a concept for a joint organisation that can be tested in an implementation project.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is based on the staffing problem of nurses at night in the geographical area of Tierps municipality. In collaboration, we have determined that with shared resources we would secure staffing, but that this is limited by the various principals´ assignments and confidentiality legislation.
