Important results from the project
The goal was to develop a concept where we can test an expanded form of cooperation across the organizational boundaries of the Region and municipality. We believe that the proposal that we want to test in the form of an implementation project meets the set goal.
We aim to add a joint nursing resource in an implementation project for a period of one year. With an extra nurse per night as a resource in Tierp´s municipality as a geographical area, patient safety for citizens will be improved.

Approach and implementation
Interviews with affected employees and managers of the actors in healthcare and social care that have nurses on duty at night were conducted physically to investigate the interest in cooperation and the needs for support and help each department has.
