Reference number
Coordinator RISE IVF AB - Avdelning Metoder, Mölndal
Funding from Vinnova SEK 400 000
Project duration September 2018 - March 2019
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project collaboration has created new technology dissemination material for flexible automation and digitization for the edig platform for continued industrial digitization in Swedish industrial companies. With more easily accessible knowledge about flexible automation and digitization on edig, it enables a higher competence for companies in the different fields and educational actors. We also see opportunities for continued cooperation.

Expected results and effects

Through the collaboration, the material on the edig platform is expanded, on several levels and also examples from the industry regarding flexible automation for low volume. edig can then be used as part of the competence development in the Swedish industry in automation. Collaboration with other projects on technology dissemination is a good way to bring in new material and new research results to edig.nu to keep the platform up-to-date and interesting.

Planned approach and implementation

Material from Swedprod has been processed both in Swedish and English for edig and has been made more interactive to create an easily accessible material that companies and educational actors can easily use in their business. If the way to create an interactive material falls well, it can be used in more areas on edig. Swedprod´s guidelines and edig.nu have been distributed among other things at World Manufaturing Forum and when edig and its material are presented, the interest is great, then it is important to get companies and to use edig, stay on the page and use available material.
