Important results from the project
Despite the outbreaks of Covid19, we have achieved the results we intended with the project - to create a commercialization strategy for Germany. We have gained knowledge and a better understanding of the strategic market drivers and the German healthcare system.
Expected long term effects
We now have increased knowledge of end-users´ attitudes and regulatory recommendations for radiation protection equipment in Germany, which was the basis of the commercialization strategy we developed based on the project result. A positive side effect with Covid19 has been that there is now more focus in the community on PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), which has already led to our PPE product portfolio being lifted and raised in a different way than before.
Approach and implementation
Before the outbreak of Covid19, we were given the opportunity to present and discuss previously created scientific data at a medical conference, which gave us a good start for dialogue with key players. We then had to make some adjustments in the project plan where, among other things, physical meetings were replaced by digital meetings.
