Climate-leading Process Industry is an initiative supporting the transformation of chemical and process industries. Through network and project activities, aim for the goal of creating a fossil-independent and competitive industrial region based on renewable och circular raw materials.
Expected effects and result
A selection of expected results and long-term effects from Climate-leading Process Industry are expected to be that the program has supported a development towards Västra Götaland reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80% compared to 1990, that the industry produces more products from recycled and/or bio-based raw materials for an established market and that the initiative´s actors together have shown clear leadership both nationally and internationally in the transition to a fossil-free society.
Planned approach and implementation
