Purpose and goal
CitySync is a Vinnova-funded project focused on creating smart and sustainable solutions for future cities. By integrating mobility hubs, digital services, and cross-sector collaboration, we develop models that promote proximity, climate adaptation, and high quality of life. Our goal is to build inclusive urban districts where people and the environment are at the center.
Expected effects and result
The project will deliver an implementation guide for the 15-minute city, tested in Bromma as a living lab. Results include concepts for mobility hubs, building reuse, and tools for municipalities and stakeholders. Expected effects are increased sustainability, stronger social cohesion, and scalable models for future urban development.
Planned approach and implementation
The project runs for three years starting November 2025. Work is organized into packages focusing on mobility, building reuse, and digital tools. Bromma serves as a living lab for testing. The consortium collaborates through regular meetings, progress tracking via Vinnova’s e-services, and a shared structure ensuring efficient coordination.
